Counselling

Counselling enables you to explore issues which are troubling you such as:

  • anxiety
  • bullying/harassment
  • depression
  • loss and bereavement
  • low self esteem
  • work related difficulties
  • relationship difficulties
  • abuse survival

The counsellor provides a confidential, supportive, non-judgemental relationship within which you are able to express your feelings; make sense of what is happening and move towards making changes for your future.

Counselling is usually weekly and can be short/long term (a few weeks to a couple of years), depending on your needs and wishes.  Sessions last 50 minutes and take place in a private room with you and the counsellor sitting opposite each other.

Couples Counselling

Couples counselling is for two people, where we explore the relationship dynamics as to what has brought the relationship to counselling, in a reflective, systemic way.  This can be for partners, parent/child, siblings etc..
